Euthanasia

The euthanasia process includes a discussion of your pets situation and family needs, an exam (if the doctor feels it is appropriate), an injection of a sedative, and then euthanasia. When you are ready, our doctor will sedate your pet to relax them. Once the medication takes affect (roughly 5-20 minutes), the euthanasia solution is injected. This injection will first put your pet into an anesthetic state, then it will cause the heart to slow down until it stops. It is generally a very quick and peaceful process. The cost is $300.00 ( There is an additional charge for aggressive pets and for dogs over 100lbs). This includes the consultation, sedation and euthanasia but does not include aftercare/transport. A clay paw print can be provided as a keep sake, if desired.
